Ami’s Namul-Bap

Namul-bap is a type of temple cuisine made with natural ingredients.
It is prepared by drying and boiling wild mountain herbs, then cooking them together with rice.
In Korea, meals are often served as a combination of rice and various side dishes, creating a balanced and satisfying dining experience.

At Ami Meal Cafe, our namul-bap is made with chwinamul, a type of wild green, adding its unique earthy flavor to the rice.

"Namul" refers to a variety of seasoned vegetable dishes in Korean cuisine. It typically includes a wide range of ingredients such as leafy greens, root vegetables, sprouts, or herbs. These vegetables are often blanched, sautéed, or steamed, then seasoned with ingredients like garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and salt.
